A picture named M2

So I've decided to have a sniff at Google Chrome browser.  First impression - it's very nice and clean but seems to be derived from Safari.  I've avoided installing Safari but thought I'd try Chrome in a virtual machine.

It identifies itself as "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/525.13 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/0.2.149.27 Safari/525.13" - confirming that it is indeed based on the same engine.

Nice and streamlined is my first impression;  there are not many options to tweak but I do like the context statusbar and good use of screen real estate gives me a positive feeling.  I'd say that Chrome should be something to welcome - especially if it really does sandbox each tab and protect people from crashes and from XSS problems.
